Czech Republic Depart for Euro 2012

Intro:

The Czech Republic football squad departed from Prague on Sunday 3rd of June for Euro 2012, and their base in Wroclaw in Poland.

Script:

The Czech Republic football team left from Prague Central train station for the European Championships on Sunday the 3rd of June.

A crowd of fans gathered on the platform to say farewell to the squad - before the first match of the tournament which begins on Friday the 8th of June.

All the members of the squad boarded the train, including the coach Petr Bilek, the captain Tomas Rosicky and players Milan Baros and Petr Cech.

The Czech Republic are in Group A and play their opening match against Russia in Wroclaw on Friday.

They then face Greece on June the 12th and finish their group with a game against the co-hosts Poland, also in Wroclaw on June the 16th.

The journey was expected to take seven hours, lets hope they enjoyed the ride.
