Martin Kelly has been called into the England squad for Saturday’s friendly in Norway.
The Liverpool full back will join up with the rest of the players in Manchester on Wednesday and then travel with the squad to Oslo on Friday.

Manager Roy Hodgson has given Chelsea’s Champions League players and Wayne Rooney this week off but Kelly can add to the numbers and gain some experience. But it also puts him in line for Euro 2012 if England get any injuries in his position before the tournament.
This could be seen as a snub for Manchester City defender Micah Richards, but Hodgson may have decided not to risk insulting Richards by calling him up essentially to make up the numbers.
