SOUNDBITE: (French) Laurent Blanc, France coach

"It was a bad evening, a bad evening ... for us, for you, for those who watched the team. And also for the training staff. I feel that it was difficult to know how to win that match, we wanted to win of course. Now, we must re-find ourselves, think about what we say, and try to control ourselves for the Spanish match. That will make us suffer today in particular because we lost against the Swedish ... the way for us to come back from this is to beat the Spanish team."

SOUNDBITE: (French) Laurent Blanc, France coach

"I think that we have a good chance of beating Spain because when we have the opportunities to play big teams like Brazil, England and Germany recently, we have done very well. Plus we are in the same group for the World Cup qualifications, so it is a good way to show our ambitions. Internationally, France has to be on top and Spain is the model right now and we must try to be as close as possible to the Spanish level and especially with the trophies, we need to win trophies, that is what we need."
