Portugal prepare for Dutch encounter
Intro:
Portugal prepare for their Group B clash against the Netherlands in Kharkiv, Ukraine. on Saturday (June 16th).
Script:
Portugal will be hoping Cristiano Ronaldo can change their fortunes as they bid to advance from Group B at the expense of the Netherlands.
The Dutch need to beat Portugal by at least two goals to stand a chance of advancing to the UEFA European Championship quarter-finals.
Portugal coach Paulo Bento wants to take control of the game - especially as the Dutch have conceded three goals already in the opening two games.
Ronaldo is yet to score at the European Championships despite collecting 60 goals for Real Madrid this season.
The Portuguese forward has failed to score in his last four international appearances this year.
Portugal beat the Netherlands 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Maniche in the 2006 World Cup in the last game between the two sides.
