Qualification to the knockout phase of Euro 2012 is still a tantalising possibility for the finalists from 1996.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Peter Cech, Goalkeeper - Chelsea and Czech Republic:
"Well I think it was a question of Greece losing 2-0 and they put more strikers up front and they played really simple with the long ball all the time. So, for us it was really difficult to have control of the game. So, like I said, for us it is really important that Tomas (Rosicky) plays?it makes it much better for us. If he will not play then we will try to win the game for him and he will be ready to play in the quarter finals."

SOUNDBITE: (Czech) Frantisek Rajtoral, Midfielder - Viktoria Plzen and Czech Republic:
"Yes we have optimism in the team after the game against Greece because it was a strong performance by us and of course now we realise that there is still a chance for us to make the qualification."

SOUNDBITE: (Czech) Tomas Hubschman, Midfielder - Shakhtar Donetsk and Czech Republic:
"Well we know that the Polish team have three particularly good players on the right side of the pitch. These three also play for the same club team (Robert Lewandowski, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski - Borussia Dortmund) and two of these players have already scored during the tournament. These three players present the main threat."
