Spain, the current World and European champions, carried on their Euro 2012 training in Poland on Wednesday morning.

Vicente del Bosque's side face the Republic of Ireland on Thursday in Gdansk, in their second Group C game.

Spain drew 1-1 in their opener against Italy last Sunday, Cesc Fabregas scoring the equaliser in the 64th minute.

Spain have played the Republic of Ireland twenty-four times and hold a favourable record of thirteen wins, seven draws and four defeats.

So unbeaten in their last fifteen competitive games, del Bosque's side are hot favourites to pick up three points in Gdansk.
