SOUNDBITE: (German) Oliver Bierhoff, Germany general manager:

Q: You have lost the second group game at the last two tournaments, how important is it to avoid defeat against the Netherlands?

"Hopefully this time it is different after the second game, that we have won the second game. The last two tournaments we put ourselves into a bad situation because we lost against uncomfortable opponents and had big pressure in the third game, where we played opponents who weren't that good on paper, like Austria and Ghana, but we were nervous for a long time. That shows that a tournament is always a tricky situation for any team."

SOUNDBITE: (German) Oliver Bierhoff, Germany general manager:

Q: The Netherlands will be looking for a win, how will you deal with this?

"We know now that for the Netherlands that tomorrow's game is like a small final. We will know after the game if this is good or bad. They will be highly-motivated and well-prepared, on the other hand it can be an enormous pressure on them because they desperately have to win, but in general we don't look at our opponents, or possible circumstances, we concentrate only on ourselves."
