Riding their bikes, the German players arrived at training in Gdansk following their opening 1-0 win over Portugal.

Coach Joachim Loew led the session as his side begin their preparations for their second Group B encounter against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

Miroslav Klose will be hoping for a start after Mario Gomez was the German's preferred choice for the match against Portugal.

Just as Klose was getting ready to come on, Gomez headed home what was to be the winner in the 72nd minute. His 23rd international goal.

It was a frustrating night for the Portugese who only really came to life after conceding. But the likes of Ronaldo and Nani were kept at bay by thethree-time world champions.

Portugal face Denmark next as the Germans look forward to meeting the Dutch.

The Netherlands will be hoping to redeem themselves as the rivals come head to head. They lost 1-0 to Denmark in their opening Group B match.
