Despite being thousands of miles from the UEFA European Championships, a number of Italian fans followed the game closely from the capital in Rome.

The Italians were held to a 1-1 draw against the defending champions and World Cup winners Spain.

After the result, supporters called on coach Cesare Prandelli to change his approach ahead of their remaining matches against Croatia and the Republic of Ireland.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Marco Lucchese, Italian fan:
"I think Italy's national team lacks a real striker and I don't like this kind of play but we'll see what will happen."

Next up Italy take on group leaders Croatia on June 14th.
