SOUNDBITE: (English) Giovanni Trapattoni, Republic of Ireland coach:
(Shay Given took part in training, will he be fit for the Croatia game?)
"Yes but I have no doubt (that) he just needed a rest yesterday, it was not an injury. I had no doubt about that he can play, that is normal. Obviously when the team or the squad is completely, also the other, we have a good option. We have a good, also the other (goalkeeper), not reserve option, but with this, our strong team. The team (squad) deserve to play that come here (to play) in the Euro."
The Republic of Ireland's other opponents in Group C are Spain and Italy, who also play each other on Sunday.
