As Poland celebrated the religious holiday "Corpus Christi", fans in Warsaw took the opportunity to visit the National Stadium ahead of Euro 2012.
Several bus loads of German fans stopped by en route to their team's first game in Lviv, Ukraine on Saturday.
At one of the organised 'Fan Camps' sites where visitors can pitch tents and have access to toilets, showers, food stalls and the all important beer trucks, there were just a few early arrivals.
Elsewhere the final lick of paint was applied to various spots that fans without tickets will flock to, to watch the games on a big screen and attempt to recreate the atmosphere inside the stadium.
The police and private security personnel were also out in force, as the tournament opens on Friday (June 8th).
