Intro:
A sea lion in a Bangkok zoo has predicted that Greece will lose to co-hosts Poland in the opening game of the Euro 2012 championship on Friday.
Script:
There's another psychic animal trying his flipper at Euro 2012 - this time Tik, a sea lion in Bangkok.
The animal world seem to have realised there's fame and fortune in predicting football scores.
And with just a day to go til the Championship kicks off, Tik was looking ahead to the match between Greece and co-hosts Poland.
And with seven years of sea lion wisdom behind him, Tik poored gloom on Greeces hopes, throwing their ball through the losing net.
SOUNDBITE (Thai) Kanchai Sanwong, Director of Dusit zoo:
"They already had Paul the Octopus. But we don't have any octopus here at the zoo, so we were asking ourselves what animal could be good. An elephant is a bit of a cliche and our sea lion is very popular. So we decided to go with the sea lion."
So now there's a psychic pig, parakeet, cow, Dragon fish, ferret, elephant, octopus and of course sea lion.
Wonder if Tik could have predicted that?
