No time to rest for the Germans...
Just three hours after their arrival in Gdansk on Monday (June 4), the German national team appeared in an open practice in the historic Lechia stadium.
A crowd of 10-thousand fans turned out, filling the traditional arena almost to capacity.
All 23 players went through their workout - including recent injury worry, Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Much to the delight of many children in the crowd, the 90-minute practice session concluded with the team kicking 300 balls into the stands.
The Polish-born duo of Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski received the warmest applause and took time to sign autographs on the way out to the team coach.
Germany start their Euro 2012 campaign on June 9th.
