Czech Republic wait to see if their hotel in Wroclaw, Poland, is safe from a bacterium that causes Legionnaires' disease on Tuesday.

Script:

On Tuesday the Czech Republic squad were still awaiting a final decision that their hotel during the forthcoming European Championship was safe on Tuesday.

A bacterium that causes Legionnaires' disease was found in the five-star Monopol hotel in the Polish city of Wroclaw in April.

Executive team manager Vladimir Smicer says the situation is serious.

SOUNDBITE (Czech) Vladimir Smicer, executive team manager:

"Bacteria called Legionella is scaring us. The hotel is open but there are these problems so we sent them a control: They will tell us the final results on Saturday."

SOUNDBITE (Czech) Vladimir Smicer, executive team manager:

"If it is the case the hotel is not okay that would be a problem. And we would have find a solution with UEFA."

The Czech's first match is against Russia on 8th June.
