Italy's national team trained in Parma on Monday with the players determinded to focused on Euro 2012 amid allegations of match fixing within the domestic game.

The Italian squad were training in Parma on Monday as allegations of match fixing continuie to dog the nation's build up to Euro 2012.

Coach Cesare Prandelli cut down his 32-man group to 25 ahead of the European Championships, with Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito one of those released after being placed under investigation for possible match-fixing while at Genoa.

Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi admits the already tranished reputation of Italian football won't be helped by the recent allegations but wants to try to focus on Euro 2012.

SOUNDBITE: (Italian) Daniele de Rossi, Italy midfielder: "The reputation of Italian football was already no so great internationally, and this is not going to help. But what matters is that the people involved are able to solve their problems."

Along with Criscito, six others were also axed by Prandelli - Emiliano Viviano, Davide Astori, Salvatore Bocchetti, Luca Cigarini, Ezequiel Schelotto and Marco Verratti.

Prandelli will cut two more players before he submits his inal 23-man squad list on Tuesday.
