SOUNDBITE: (English) Roy Hodgson, England Manager

"I thought we showed a lot of discipline, thought we worked very hard. I don't think we were as good at going forward as we are going to be - or have the potential to be. We showed glimpses of it but also I think the fatigue factor did start to play a part and, of course, changing the team so often with so many players that does disrupt any rhythm you might get attacking-wise, but I am not prepared to be critical of the team or anything about our play tonight and I am sure you will understand that but I am also aware that there is very much work in progress. After three days with this team I have got to be satisfied that we have come here and given a more than reasonable performance and gone away with a result, which is something that everyone reminded me before the game - that doesn't happen too often here in Oslo."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Roy Hodgson, England Manager

"Yes I got a lot and you are always going to get a lot of answers. It was a team which was missing quite a few famous names, a team with players that haven't played together...(Andy) Carrol and (Ashley) Young and a new combination there. So, I would say that I took an awful lot from this game because we are playing against a quality opponent. "
