"It's a multi-purpose stadium, but its main purpose is football games. It was designed in a famous architectural office. Its shape resembles amber, a symbol of Gdansk. It has forty-four thousand seats, but its capacity can rise up to fifty-six thousand, depending on the type of organised event."

The first match in Gdansk will be on June 10th between defending European champions Spain and Italy, in a Group C encounter.

Spain will also face the Republic of Ireland on June 14th in the stadium, along with their final Group C game against Croatia on June 18th.
