Portugal continued their preparations for Euro 2012 on Monday (21st May) during their training camp.
The Portuguese side, which last reached the final in Euro 2004 as hosts, will be hoping to go one step further after losing 1-0 to Greece that year in one of the biggest shocks in the tournament's history.

The Portuguese squad trained at their base in Obidos in Portugal on Monday (May 21) ahead of their opening Euro 2012 Group B game against Germany in Ukraine.
Head coach Paulo Bento will be hoping that Cristiano Ronaldo can inspire them to glory in the same way he helped Real Madrid claim their first La Liga title since 2008.
Ronaldo scored 42 goals this season as Real finished ahead of arch-rivals Barcelona, and fellow Portuguese striker Nelson Oliveira says Ronaldo is priceless.

"I think that having (Cristiano) Ronaldo in our squad is a great help, not a great responsibility, it's a great help. Many National Teams would like to have a player like Ronaldo."
After being drawn alongside Germany, Netherlands and Denmark, Portugal face an uphill task to progress through the competition.
Despite the group being dubbed the 'Group of Death' the Benfica striker is confident that the Portuguese can qualify for the knockout stages.

"We know that we will have very difficult matches (in Group B) but they certainly know (the other squads: Germany, Netherlands and Denmark) that it will also be difficult for them to play against us. We hope to play three good matches which will allow us to go through to the next stage."
Portugal kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against Germany on June 9th.
