Intro:
Dick Advocaat is hoping to emulate shock 2004 winners Greece, with his Russia side heading to the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine as one of the underdogs.
Script:
Its 52 years since Russia - as the Soviet Union - won the European Championship in France.
Three more European Championship final appearances have followed since then, but Russia have so far failed in their efforts to clinch a second title.
Dick Advocaat has been charged with the task of ending that run at this year's tournament.
Advocaat's side are seen as outsiders to win the trophy in Poland and Ukraine, but the Dutchman is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Greece, who upset hosts Portugal in the final to win Euro 2004.

SUPER CAPTION: 'Dick' Advocaat, Coach of the Russian national team
"Well, I think if you have to go to the tournament you'd like to win because there are certain things what is important and if Greece can do something in 2004 (when they won the Euros) then Russia is capable to do something like that."
Russia have been drawn in Group A with co-hosts Poland, Greece and Czech Republic - sides that are all below them in the FIFA world rankings.
