The fans have booked their tickets, the stadia have all been built, and now the referees are gearing up for Euro 2012 with a workshop in Warsaw.
England's finest Howard Webb was rewarded for his consistently high performances with the chance to officiate the World Cup final two years ago.
However, prior to that at Euro 2008 Webb caused quite a stir in Poland when he awarded Austria a dubious penalty against the 2012 co-hosts.
Polish fans were vociferous in their disdain, but Webb insists he's not worried heading into the tournament.

"I don't have any worries at all about being here. I'm just thrilled to be here. I hope the entire refereeing team performs well. I hope my team performs well, my team of five, I've got full confidence and trust in them. So, I don't have any worries. I think we are going to be well prepared. You know we have been selected over a long period of time based on performances and I'm confident that we can deliver one or two good performances."
The debate over goal-line technology was rife at South Africa 2010, with England's Frank Lampard denied a clear goal against Germany.
A recent blip in the FA Cup semi final between Tottenham and Chelsea has fanned the flames, with FIFA set to make a decision on the impending technology in June.
For now, Webb is happy with the tools he already has available to him.

"Of course at the moment we don't know if technology will come in to the game and you are right in that a decision has not been made. So we'll see how that goes and whatever tools are given to me and my colleagues as referees we'll use them I guess to enhance our performances."
Euro 2012 kicks off in Poland and Ukraine on June 8th.
