With Euro 2012 just around the corner former Poland international Tomasz Rzasa has been giving his views on how far he thinks his countrymen can go this summer
Poland have been drawn in Group A alongside Greece, Russia and the Czech Republic.
Speaking in Krakow, Rzasa, who is now the team's Director of Communications, says while the group looks easy on paper his compatriots would do well not to underestimate their opponents.
SOUNDBITE (English) Tomasz Rzasa, Polish National team head of communications:
"Our group looks easy on the paper, but it is not. We don't have experience at all. As I told you, we have a very young team, inexperienced team, and for us it's the second time we are going to play in a European Championship. And, our main aim is to go further, just to qualify to the quarter-finals."
Rzasa went on to discuss the recent scandal in Polish football which saw Cologne midfielder Slawomir Peszko and Anderlecht defender Marcin Wasilewski banned from playing at Euro 2012 after a night of drinking.
Rzasa says he stands by the coach Franciszek Smuda and believes the team will be stronger because of his zero-tolerance policy on alcohol.
SOUNDBITE (English) Tomasz Rzasa, Polish National team head of communications:
"If you have any problems with alcohol you don't deserve to be the player of a national team. And I think that was a good decision of our head coach to do these things. Of course they are really good players and maybe they could have been useful as players. But as a team, now we are much stronger."
Rzasa will be hoping Poland don't need the duo when they open Euro 2012 against Greece on June 8.
