UEFA President Michel Platini popped to Poland to see how things are going and was pleased with the progress.
He said:

"Everything is proceeding as it should. We are very satisfied with the course of events. At the meeting we discussed some details concerning the pitch. As we are aware of the necessity for good quality, we have asked that the pitch be re-laid in every stadium."
Polish Sports Minister Joanna Mucha echoed Platini's words:

"During today's meeting in a friendly atmosphere, with regard to our preparations we heard only good words. I am very happy that today the whole world will hear the message that the President passed on to me during our meeting: "Bien fait" - good job."
